




Khatha Kadai Workshop
STI Hub, JECRC University has organized a workshop for the people of Goner village where they were trained about the Katha kadai work. They were taught to trace the design on to the fabric, and then use a carbon paper along with tracing paper to copy the design, and then thread the needle with two strands of embroidery thread, then tie a knot at the end and fill the outline with rows of running stitches parallel to the outline. The localities were told the importance of being self independent
